Slack Integration
Integrate your chatbot with Slack. Ask your chatbot questions from a Slack channel and receive response as Slack reply message.
Bring DenserAI into Slack so teammates can ask questions without leaving their workflow. Replies arrive as threaded messages right inside your channels.
Before you connect
Make sure you're an admin in the Slack workspace and that your chatbot is set to Public or shared with the intended users.
Integration Steps
In your chatbot dashboard, open Deploy and select the Slack card.
Click Connect to Slack to start the authorization flow.
You will be redirected to the Slack authentication page. Select the Slack workspace you want to integrate with and provide your Slack credentials to authenticate.
Review the access scopes and click Allow. DenserAI only reads messages in channels where it's invited or mentioned.
Test the Integration
Back in Denser, the Slack card displays the connected workspace name so you know the integration is active.
To test the integration, optionally create a dedicated Slack channel to avoid disturbing other users.
In the dedicated channel, mention @DenserAI followed by your question. Wait a few seconds for your chatbot to process the question, and you will see the reply in the thread.
Need to disconnect?
Click Disconnect on the Slack card to revoke the token immediately. DenserAI never stores Slack messages beyond processing the request.
