Integrate Your Chatbot with Google Drive
Connect Google Drive with Denser.ai. Enable your chatbot to access, search, and pull real-time answers from documents to streamline workflows securely.
Similarly to File data source, you can add documents stored in your Google Drive account to the data store of your chatbot. Unlike File data source, you can enable Auto Rebuild to periodically refresh Google Drive file changes into your chatbot knowledge base.
Before you connect
- Sign into the Google account that owns the folders you want to sync.
- Confirm your DenserAI plan has capacity for the files you expect to index.
- Open the chatbot dashboard and switch to Data Store -> Google Drive.
Security note
- When you authorize Denser to access your Google Drive account, you are granting read-only access to the files and folders in your Google Drive.
- Only the files you explicitly select will be accessed and used to build your chatbot's knowledge base.
- Denser's Google OAuth integration has been reviewed and approved by Google to ensure compliance with their security standards.
Build Steps
Select Google Drive as the data source, then click Connect Google Drive.
Choose Add Google Drive Account and complete the Google OAuth flow. DenserAI requests read-only access and only sees items you explicitly pick.
After authorization, reopen Connect Google Drive, choose your account, and pick the files or folders to sync.
Press Retrain Chatbot in the right panel. The assistant rebuilds embeddings with the latest Drive content.
Auto Rebuild
In the Data Store section, locate the Google Drive file you want to enable auto rebuild.
Click the ... button next to the file.
Toggle on the Auto-rebuild configuration.
